Built For The Barbell, Not The Selfie

No smoothie bar. No wall of mirrors. Iron Standard is twelve platforms and competition bars, run by coaches who program for you instead of handing you a printout off the wall. We train powerlifters chasing totals. We train more people who just want to deadlift their own kids' furniture at sixty without asking for help. Every membership starts the same way: a real movement assessment, then a written twelve-week plan built off what we actually see you do. No guessing. No generic templates.

The Tape

Do I need to know how to lift already?

No. The movement assessment is built for that. Ninety minutes of screening and video review tells your coach exactly where you're starting, then your twelve-week plan meets you there. Most of our members were not powerlifters when they walked in.

What's the difference between Open Gym and Coached Strength?

Open Gym gives you full floor access and your written program to run on your own schedule. Coached Strength adds two sessions a week where a coach is on the platform with you, adjusting the plan in real time.

Is this gym only for competitive powerlifters?

We coach powerlifters chasing totals, but most of our members are in their thirties and forties training to stay strong long term. The Competition Prep Block is for lifters with a meet on the calendar. Everyone else runs a standard twelve-week strength plan.

How much does it cost to start?

The Movement Assessment is $150 and includes your first twelve-week plan. From there, Open Gym runs $99 a month for full access, or $249 for Coached Strength with two sessions a week built around that same plan.

What happens after I book the assessment?

You come in for the ninety-minute session. We screen your movement, film your lifts, and review them with you before you leave with a written twelve-week plan. That plan is what your coach builds every session from after.

Do you help with meet prep and handling?

Yes. The Competition Prep Block is twelve weeks of meet-specific programming with handler support on the platform, built for lifters who have a total on the line and a date already set.
